Colonel Muammar Gaddafi's Death Recall

Colonel Muammar Gaddafi was the official ruler of the Libyan Arab Republic from 1969 to 1977 and then the Brother Leader of the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya from 1977 to 2011.

According to BBC News, Libya's ex-leader Col Muammar Gaddafi has been killed after an assault on his birthplace of Sirte, officials say. Acting Prime Minister Mahmoud Jibril announced the death, and later said the colonel had been killed in a crossfire between Gaddafi loyalists and fighters from the transitional authorities. He confirmed that Col Gaddafi had been taken alive, but died of bullet wounds minutes before reaching hospital. Video footage suggests he was also dragged through the streets. It is unclear from the footage, broadcast by al-Jazeera TV, whether he was alive or dead at the time.

In my point of view, Gaddafi is an outspoken leader and I realize he had engaged with the people of Libya by maintaining the virtues of the peoples. Gaddafi has been providing a free learning from Primary School up to University Level to the nation, hence, he also provide a free medical services. Most of the major expenditure that should be paid is given for free to the peoples of Libya. Gaddafi has used the income of their National Petroleum Fund to cover the expenditure for the peoples. He also has given support to many international liberation struggles in the late 70's. At the same time, I also acknowledge that the democratic system is very narrow in Libya and he ruled libya without a general election.

For me, his death should not happen in such a way. Why did they(the people of Libya) shot him in the head? It is not a proper ways to settle things down ..or maybe brought him to the International Criminal Court to execute the sentence on him>>>>?  instead of shot him and the cases had been left with a controversial theories and it is inequitable.
